In this article, we’ll be taking a look at the best phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal. Right now, there are a lot of options among midrange phones, especially in the 30K price segment. The main reason for this is the purchasing power of the majority of the Nepali audience. Hence, every major smartphone brand has at least one offering in this price range.
How to find the best phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal?
These Android phones offer excellent value for money with good performance and other features at a midrange price point. For NPR 30000 in Nepal, you should be able to get a decent set of features. Full HD resolution is fairly common at this price, whereas AMOLED panels are appearing in more and more phones too.
Similarly, performance shouldn’t be an issue, especially the ones from brands like Xiaomi and Realme. Multiple cameras are also readily available on midrange phones these days. However, don’t fall for the multiple-camera setup as the macro and depth lenses are quite a marketing gimmick. So, make sure to check out our individual reviews in detail to find out more.
Note: In this list, we have also included a few smartphones that cost more than NPR 30000 — but not by a lot. We’ve done this so that you can further curate your choices, and also because we don’t want you to miss any good deal by spending NPR 500 – 1000 more. The prices of such products are marked with an asterisk (*) at the end. |
Best mobile phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal:
5. Redmi Note 13 4G
The newly launched Redmi Note 13 4G is also a pretty well-rounded phone for some NPR 30000. It doesn’t come with a whole lot of upgrades over the Redmi Note 12 4G but the overall experience you’re getting with this thing is pretty impressive nonetheless.
First things first, Xiaomi has gone with a pretty bold look here that we really dig. And although it’s got the same 120Hz AMOLED display, the Redmi Note 13 4G trims the bezels quite significantly. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor now for a more premium experience, while Xiaomi has bumped the peak brightness level to 1,800 nits this time around. And unlike its predecessor, the Note 13 4G brings back a stereo speaker setup as well.
Other than this, Xiaomi has swapped the 50MP main camera to a 108MP unit here, while the selfie camera also enjoys a new 16MP sensor. But for something that launched in 2024, we’re not a fan of the fact that it still boots on Android 13-based MIUI 14. And it doesn’t help that Xiaomi hasn’t committed to any number of future software updates for this guy either.

4. Infinix Note 40
At number 4 on our list of best phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal is the Infinix Note 40. And this guy impresses in a lot of ways, starting with the design itself. The Note 30 is available in two attractive color options with a nice, clean design.
It also has a pretty responsive 120Hz display, plus it’s AMOLED this time. Battery life isn’t going to be a problem on this thing either, while the Note430 brings a familiar Helio G99 chip for smooth everyday usage and a decent gaming experience.
This is quite a popular chipset of choice in this price bracket. We’re also quite fond of how generous Infinix has been with the memory configuration on this guy. The Infinix Note 40 has a decent camera setup too. We would’ve liked to see an ultrawide shooter too, but its 64MP main camera and a 32MP sensor on the front are reliable enough for taking photos.
Infinix Note 40 Specifications:
- Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate
- Chipset: MediaTek Helio G99 4G (6nm mobile platform)
- Memory: 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable)

3. Honor X8b
The newly launched Honor X8b also finds a well-deserved 3rd spot on our list of best phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal. It’s the successor to last year’s Honor X8a, and the company has stuffed quite a few upgrades this time to offer an interesting midrange phone.
For example, the 90Hz IPS display has been bumped to an AMOLED one. That too with an impressive 3,240Hz PWM dimming. The Honor X8b also enjoys a high-res 50MP selfie camera, whereas Honor has also focused on the design side of things here. Its green colorway has a unique leather texture, while the phone itself is super slim (6.78mm) and lightweight (166 gm) too.
But despite its slimmer form factor, the Honor X8b carries the same 4500mAh battery. Oh — and besides a higher-resolution selfie shooter — it has a front-facing flashlight as well. Arranged inside a pill-shaped cutout. There’s not much to talk about in terms of performance though, since it uses the Snapdragon 680 chip. It is also the cheapest phone under NPR 30000 with the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage model.
