The Benko series budget phones are quite popular in the offline market. Just a few months ago, the brand released a budget-friendly option, the Benco S1. Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Benco S1 Pro adopts a boxy frame factor with a flat frame of 8.47mm. The back panel is AG glass with an oleophobic coating, which is fingerprint-resistant. Benko has introduced this phone in three color options: Pearl White, Iceberg Blue and Gemstone Black.

On the front, you get a 6.8-inch hole-punch panel with FHD resolution (1080 x 2460). However, this LCD panel only supports a fixed 60Hz refresh rate.

Performance

Under the hood, there is a Unisoc T616 chipset powering the core. It's a slight upgrade from the Unisoc T606 used on the Benco S1. For comparison, both are fabricated under the 12nm process and have the same Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 CPU cores. However, the T616 has a slightly increased clock speed. And talking about graphics, it has Mali-G57 MP1 GPU.

You get three variants here: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB with virtual RAM expansion feature. Storage is UFS 2.2, which delivers blazing fast read and write speeds. And the phone comes with Android 13 out-of-the-box.

Camera

As for the optics, the Benco S1 Pro gets a triple camera setup. It is headlined by a 1.4µm 64MP primary camera with 2MP macro unit and an AI lens. Upfront, you get a 16MP front camera for snapping selfies and taking video calls.

Fueling the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
